A rigorous new study conducted by two highly respected agricultural economists brings to light the top reasons crop growers apply agricultural gypsum. Long-term gypsum users report more than 5:1 or higher returns for every dollar worth of gypsum applied to alfalfa and 2:1 or higher for corn.  Yield, sulfur availability and soil quality improvements were top three reasons cited for gypsum use in study findings.  Read more in the attached bulletin with a summary of findings. |
